One of the coolest parts of Kirby Derby Day is the Parade prior to the soapbox car races. I loved how they not only paraded but had a group protesting the event spectacle as well. Hmmmmm… perhaps that idea might be worth stealing for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade next year. Snake-loving Irish against St. Patrick might be exploring.
