I am in for a dive bar! We went to check out Hank’s in Downtown Cary and it did not disappoint. This is a perfect spot to grab a drink and appetizers.
I love the space and the food and drinks are great. What we had to eat:
- Cauliflower smoked and fried with gochujang.
- Tacos 3 ways:
- Philly Steak-Brasstown strip, grilled peppers and onions, cheese whiz, hanks sauce
- Pork Belly Bahn Mi
- Fish- pickled onion, preserved citrus aioli, potato chips
What we had to drink:
The Painkiller – Pusser’s rum, pineapple, orange, coconut, nutmeg.
