We decided to get out of the heat and enjoy some air-conditioning by grabbing lunch. The theme of the restaurant is Hungry for adventure? Savor the tropical cuisine of this exotic outpost.
I had the “Tastes like Chicken” Because it is. Which is a Crispy-fried Chicken served with Jasmine Rice, Chili Glaze, and Seasonal Vegetables. It was delicious and something different.
Anthony ordered the Hardy Har Char Siu Pork. It is a Char Siu-marinated Pork served with Seasonal Vegetables and Jasmine Rice. Sad to say I had food envy. The chicken was good but the pork was better.
The best part of the restaurant is that it is one of the few spots where you can enjoy a cold beer in the Magic Kingdom. I had a Tampa Bay Brewing Old Elephant IPA which is a Hoppy American IPA. It was a perfect way to cool off from the Florida heat. We are so glad we stopped Jungle Navigation, Co. LTD Skipper Canteen for lunch. It was a great meal.
