The Hop Ice Cream Cafe has been in Asheville since 1978. They also have a creamery with a tasting and production room. The creamery has lots of fun events like a Doggie Ice Cream Social and Flight Nights. I was lucky enough to try the flight while I was there. The flight allows you to sample four different flavors. They were all great but my favorite was the Nutella Pretzel. The ice cream was really amazing. No wonder they have been named the 12 best ice cream shops in America by the Huffington Post and Domino Magazine.
One of the things that I thought was really awesome was the vegan ice cream options for the vegan crowd. I thought that was pretty cool. If you find yourself in Asheville and in need of ice cream, make sure to check out The Hop Ice Cream Cafe or the Creamery. You will love their ice cream.
