The folks from Raleigh Times are now in the pizza business. The concept of a quick place to grab a slice of pizza. There is no seating so it is a to-go place. They are open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m and located at 210 South Wilmington Street.
They have a great lunch special. You can get 2-1 topping slices and a drink or 1-1 topping slice, salad and a drink for just $7. They also have a rotating daily specialty pizza. The toppings include things like housemade sausage, bacon, ham, fresh basil and more.
I grabbed a slice of the specialty pizza which was the chicken bacon and ranch pizza. I also had the kale salad which was made with locally grown kale and hot cherry peppers. It was great. I love the ability to grab something quick for lunch or dinner or for a midnight snack. OK let’s be real, I won’t be hitting up the midnight snack pizza, I am in bed by then. But I like to have the option and I know others do too. Congrats to the Pizza Times and check out the details here.
