One of our favorite things is coffee. We finally got a chance to stop by Full Bloom Coffee and Craft in Garner. They have been open for about six months now and it is the perfect addition to downtown Garner. They are a microroaster and are committed to sourcing quality coffees that are Organic, Fair Trade, and Rainforest Alliance Certified.
What we had to drink:
Honey Vanilla Cappuccino
Double shot, steamed milk, honey, vanilla syrup, cinnamon
Orange Blossom Latte
Latte, honey, orange, dark chocolate
Honey Brew
Cold brew coffee in Cinnamon
The coffee was amazing. I loved the orange blossom latte and the honey brew the best.
They also carry great local craft beer so of course we had to try a few beers. What we had to drink:
Double Barley Sparkky’s Coffee Chocolate Milk Stout 2016 Stout – A super smooth beer with a variety of dark roasted malts, cold brewed coffee and chocolate lending to the complex flavors.
Double Barley Thrilla In Vanilla Fight Series Round 9 – Vanilla Cake The Thrilla Fight Series features 12 rounds of Thrilla in Vanilla variants. They’ve been blending the SteakCake Imperial Stout and the Thrilla in Vanilla Imperial Porter at the tap room for years. The customers in the tap room liked it so much they decided to bottle it and release for their anniversary month.
Oh yeah, did I mention they have food too? We didn’t get a chance to grab anything to eat this time around but we will definitely go back. The offerings include a kale salad with goat cheese and beets and a spinach and artichoke panini. If it is anything like their coffee and beer I am sure it will be amazing.
If good coffee wasn’t enough they have lots of fun events. They do food truck Fridays and Yoga classes. It is more than a coffee shop. It is a gathering spot for the community in downtown Garner.
