This dessert tastes a lot like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. We can only assume these are just like Reese’s Mom made him as a child. If you love a peanut butter chocolate combo you need to check them out and they can be yours – not Reese’s.
Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter (Melted)
- 2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs (Used pre-crumbed or grind them in a food processor)
- 2 cups Confectioners Sugar (or 10x Powdered Sugar)
- 1 cup Peanut Butter
- 4 tablespoons Peanut Butter
- 1.5 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions
Step 1 | |
In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners’ sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. | |

Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13 inch pan. | |

In a metal bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the 4 tablespoons peanut butter, stirring occasionally until smooth. | |

Spread over the peanut butter layer. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares. |
