Kirby Derby is as hard to describe as it is fun to watch. Going strong since 2002 and reported on or participated in by 919raleigh since 2011 it is one of the most fun neighborhood events I’ve been to. We had a quick drop in after Tour de Fat in Durham to keep the streak alive and show a few images of the boxcar racers.
A short visit was great and a few pics may get some of our previous co-conspirators interested in making another run. We’ve been heavily decorated in the past but there is still one trophy we haven’t taken. We’ve got a year to decide.
