The Seattle Center is the site of the 1962 World’s Fair and home to the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Pacific Science Center, Armory, EMP Museum, and many other attractions. A short monorail ride from downtown Seattle it is both a historic area and a very vibrant and modern park.
I hope that in 50 years Dix Park functions as well as this space does for both the local residents and visitors from around the world. We were fortunate to see the opening of a new and playground called Artists at Play featuring a 35-foot climbing tower.
