What is the best way to follow an awesome 12 hour day of bluegrass? Schedule a second day. Day 2 at Wide Open Bluegrass had awesome sets by Della Mae, Noam Pikelny & Stuart Duncan, Del McCoury Band and Keller Williams, and for the finale Ricky Skaggs & Bruce Hornsby with Kentucky Thunder.
We also got to chat with Nicky Sanders of the Steep Canyon Rangers (CaraDMc’s favorite fiddle player). Overall another huge success and a great day. Really isn’t more that can be said other than we’re already looking forward to next year.
