Madre has now opened its doors downtown in Smokey Hollow in downtown Raleigh. Their concept is a celebration of motherly hospitality and the beautiful way of life found along the Mediterranean. They have small plates for sharing and a great cocktail and wine list.
It is the perfect space for a night out on the town. We enjoyed the following menu items:
Grilled Olives
Whipped Goat Cheese served with carrots and bread from Union Special
Salchipaps potatoes, chorizo with dijonaise
Roasted Cauliflower served with a green goddess dressing
Not only was the food amazing, but it was also beautiful. I loved everything we had to eat. My favorite items were the Salchipaps and Roasted Cauliflower. They were both so good. I really love this new spot in downtown Raleigh and I can’t wait to get back to try some of the other menu items.
