Last week the The Soccer Tournament (TST) and the Town of Cary announced a partnership that will keep the 7v7 soccer festival at WakeMed Soccer Park through 2029. We attended the Kickoff Party to celebrate the announcement.
The event has been held at the WakeMed Soccer Park since 2023. In 2025 the tournament doubled the size of the women’s tournament to 16 teams. The exciting announcement for 2026 is that the US Women’s Team is retruning. The two-time defending champion US Women’s team, led by U.S. Women’s National Team legend Heather O’Reilly, announced their return to the TST 2026 event to pursue a “three-peat” championship.
