Giorgio Pizza Bar just opened its doors this week. They are located at 141 Park in North Hills. We were so excited to grab a table for dinner to check out Raleigh’s newest pizza spot. The concept is hand-tossed, sourdough pizzas with a thin crust. They have 9 pizzas on the menu.
What we had to eat:
- Olives
- Almonds
- Meatballs with Burst Tomatoes and Pepper
- Diavolo Pizza- Spicy not Spicy Pepperoni, Mozzarella and Pompdoro
Let’s start with the pizza. The crust was so good. And the pepperoni was the perfect amount of spice/flavor. To be honest, the meatballs were the show-stopper for me. They were amazing. They are some of the best meatballs we’ve had in town.
The atmosphere is really fun. The dining room has 100 seats with covered outdoor patio space as well. The restaurant is Italian cinema themed. There are old movie ads paired with modern and fun chandeliers. I really love the space.
We are so excited that Giorgios Bakatsias of Giorgios Hospitality Group has opened another spot in Raleigh. We can’t wait to go back! Next time I getting the Brussel Sprout pizza!
