The Van Gogh Exhibit is currently in Raleigh. The exhibit is in the Pleasant Valley Promenade shopping center located at 6240 Glenwood Ave.
The most impressive part of the exhibit is the 20,000-square-foot room featuring projections and video of Van Gogh’s artwork. You can sit for about 30 minutes to watch the projections which are stunning. The way they made his artwork come alive through the projections was fascinating.
They also have a VR experience that walks you through the history of his artwork Do not skip this part. It is so cool the way they take you through the places that inspired his art.
The exhibit has been touring since 2017 and has won awards for the best 2021 immersive experience by USA Today. If you are on the fence about the exhibit I would strongly recommend you give it a try. We loved the exhibit and had fun learning more about Van Gogh and his life.
