We can’t resist – here’s an event that’s out of this world. Col. Chris Hadfield visits on Thursday, April 16, at 7 pm with An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth (paperback release). An accomplished astronaut, Hadfield takes readers deep into his years of training and space exploration to show how to make the impossible possible. Through eye-opening, entertaining stories, his vivid and refreshing insights will teach you how to think like an astronaut, and will change, completely, the way you view life on Earth-especially your own. He’s also author of You Are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes, with photos from the International Space Station.
Chris Hadfield is one of the most seasoned and accomplished astronauts in the world. In May 2013, Hadfield returned to Earth after serving as Commander of the International Space Station, where he and his crew lived for five months (his third mission).
This event was a fun evening with one of the more colorful personalities in aerospace – Col. Chris Hadfield. Entertaining speaker, author, musician and astronaut. Very cool to see him at Quail Ridge Books – an awesome bookstore. Had to shout out to them both on National Independent Bookstore Day.
