Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille is open now in Raleigh. They are located across the street from Crabtree Valley Mall. Perry’s has locations in Birmingham, Denver, Miami, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Houston, and Dallas. We are glad they are here. Perry’s opened in 1979 as a meat market. They started in Houston. Today Perry’s is a full-service steakhouse and grille.
We started out enjoying a few drinks and appetizers at Bar 79. We tried a cucumber blueberry martini which was paired with seafood stuffed mushrooms. We then tried lemon bubbles paired with lobster tempura. Our final taste was the smoky margarita with fried asparagus with jumbo lump crab.
After enjoying drinks and appetizers at the bar we moved to the dining room to enjoy the main course. We started with a pinot noir. We then had ahi tuna, Perry’s famous pork chop bites, and Chateaubriand.
To finish off this great meal we had a Jameson Mocha Old Fashioned and a Nutty D’Angelo which is ice cream with crushed pecans flambeed with brown sugar and brandy.
My favorites of the evening were the Pinot Noir, steak, and the cucumber blueberry martini. The food was great and I can’t wait to go back. A couple of good to know specials. Perry’s has a famous pork chop lunch special. You can get a lunch-sized pork chop with whipped potatoes and applesauce for $16. On Sundays, they have a 3 course Sunday Supper for $39. The meal includes your choice of soup or salad, Perry’s pork chop, and a dessert trio.
