The first snow of 2016 was less snow and more sleet and freezing rain with an unfortunate side effect of down power lines and loss of electricity. We had about 12 hours with no power but we are back and taking a few pictures around the neighborhood now that the precipitation is done and only the cold air remains. The roads at least in the neighborhood look safe but we’ll likely stay in and avoid any lingering issues.
Don’t forget to share some of the bread you bought (you know you bought milk and bread) with our bird friends. They are likely more dependent on our generosity in this weather than most of the time. Stay warm and hopefully no more power outages.
