If you know us you know we are willing to travel for some good BBQ. Graham is just an hour’s drive from Raleigh and it is worth a stop to visit the Smokehouse at Steve’s. They consider themselves a scratch, southern kitchen attached to a beautiful old-school Butchery/Garden Market. They use fresh local ingredients in their cooking and it shows.
What we had to eat:
- Brisket with green beans and cucumber salad
- Brisket with grits and greens
- Kids Plate with turkey and green beans
- Strawberry Pancakes
- Chicken Biscuit
Everything was really great! I love the food so much we can’t wait to go back. They also have a butcher on-site so next time we are bringing a cooler so we can bring some treats back with us to Raleigh. If you find yourself in Graham or want to do a fun day trip from Raleigh swing by the Smokehouse at Steve’s.
