When you think Myrtle Beach food you probably think Buffets and Calabash Seafood. You should think of breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day and it is pretty tasty at places like Johnny D’s Waffles and Bakery. Be prepared to wait and to read a pretty healthy menu but to make things easier just find the “award-winning” or “voted-best” item and prepare to enjoy.
I had the Voted #1 Waffle in SC Red Velvet Waffle. And while it was an outstanding breakfast I would love to be on the voting committee. So South Carolina – if you need an out-of-state unbiased opinion on waffles I’m happy to volunteer. If you are in Myrtle Beach I would recommend Johnny D’s and trying the Red Velvet Waffle. I can’t say if it is the #1 Waffle in SC without more research but I can say it is pretty incredible and worth the wait.
