I finally made it to Indochine in Wilmington. This has been on my places to visit for quite sometime now. With its fusion of Vietnamese and Thai dishes, this restaurant has become a staple for food enthusiasts seeking a memorable dining experience that extends beyond just food. Here’s why Indochine is a must-visit spot in Wilmington.
Indochine’s signature dishes, such as the crispy spring rolls, pad Thai, and spicy green curry, showcase traditional flavors with a modern twist, making them both accessible and true to their origins.
One of the first things that strikes you as you enter Indochine is its enchanting ambiance. Inspired by Southeast Asian architecture and decor, the restaurant offers an immersive experience with rich colors, intricate woodwork, and thoughtfully placed art pieces that transport diners to another world.
I ordered the terriyaki chicken noodles. The dish featured perfectly cooked wheat noodles stir-fried in a rich, savory teriyaki sauce that had just the right balance of sweetness. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the mix of fresh vegetables—broccoli, bok choy, carrots, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and onions—added a nice crunch and variety of textures.
If you visit Wilmington make sure to check out Indochine.
