Dream Big: Engineering Our World is now playing at the IMAX Theater at Marbles. The theme is if you dream it, you can engineer it. The movie explores how engineers build, create, and solve problems. It also looks at how engineers push the limits and think in different ways to create better buildings.
They looked at the following engineering projects:
- The Great Wall of China which is 13,000 miles long and is held together by sticky rice!
- Shanghai Tower that is turned so that it can withstand tsunamis.
- Building Bridges in Haiti. By creating footbridges to help safely connect communities.
The movie was awe inspiring and really encourages you to Dream Big!
