About 919Raleigh
The people behind the site, the sceenes, and all the spelling errors. The 919RALEIGH crew.
Never lose your sense of adventure from the smallest coffee shop to the largest roller coaster. Started in 2002 as artmusiclife.com today 919raleigh.com is the home base for a couple of modern-day explorers that are enjoying food, drinks, recipes and the occasional road trip while sharing their amazing finds online. We feel extremely fortunate to live an area that is growing and hope that we can inspire you to try something new.
Cara is a marketing and communication professional that loves to try new things. You can find her paddle boarding or cheering for either the Wolfpack, Courage, or Hurricanes. She is the Chief Content Creator for the website and social channels. Cara is a foodie that enjoys both the finer menu items and the occasional fast-food oddity. She is a secret Disney Adult and loves visiting the parks where her favorite ride is Expedition Everest, and she loves running RunDisney races around the parks.
Anthony majored in undecided and is still trying to figure out what he wants to be if he grows up. He has a wide range of interests including: Lego, Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, Local Politics and all things technology from computers to cameras to drones. Typically, he is alternating between building and breaking things when not contributing his own content which frequently falls under Everything Else.
In 2018 we started our biggest adventure yet with a new addition to the crew. This has opened a new world of experiences many being seen from the point of view of a tiny human. While he is not writing yet he does show up in posts and we hope to pull in his literary skills soon.
Combined this team creates a unique perspective and commentary on the world around them both in Raleigh and on the road. Favorite stops include the mountains, the beach, and that small amusement park run by a mouse just South of Orlando.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope you find it half as entertaining and informative as we do. Please feel free to share our content and our philosophy of reporting the wins, downplaying the losses and making sure that everyone along for the ride has a great time.
