After you have enjoyed some time at the park, swing by and grab a beer at Casita Brewing Company. They are a community-focused brewery. Their concept is a local beer with a global appeal. Their logo is a letter ‘C’ in the shape of a little house. The ‘C’ of course stands for Casita, but it also represents craftsmanship, creativity, and compassion.
They just opened their doors in downtown on August 31. To kick off opening their business they are trying to break the Guinness Book of World Records record for the most contributions to a paint-by-numbers painting. The current record is held by Doha, Qatar. Each color represents a different week that you can come by and check out the brewery and participate in this exciting project. We had fun painting some orange colors!
I am so glad we stumbled upon this brewery as they just opened. Their beer was excellent. I had the Mr. Balihai which is a tiki-inspired triple IPA. It is made with pineapple, lemon, and coffee. Ant had the #friendchipgoals stout. This is a collab with the folks from Treat Yo’ Self Bakery. This is a rye espresso chocolate chip cookie stout that was made with coffee and cocoa nibs. These beers were some of the best we’ve had in a really long time. They were excellent. We ended up grabbing some cans to bring home. I need to see if any of our local bottle shops carry their stuff because it is so good.
