Hello Weaver Street Market!

We are excited to have you in downtown Raleigh. They are located at 404 West Hargett Street. Weaver Street is a co-op which means it is owned by the shoppers and employees. Their concept is a market for the community, by the community. They are for supporting local producers and help with employee benefits.

If you are in to feeling good about where you shop, you may want to become a member. Here’s what you get:

  • A logo T-shirt and reusable bag
  • Invitations to new owner events
  • Weekly owner coupons
  • Discounted tickets to select Weaver Street events
  • A right to vote in board elections, and to run for a seat on the board
  • An invitation to co-op fairs and board meetings

Becoming an owner is $75 and helps promote good food options in downtown from local farmers.

The new space is great. It has hot food bar options and grab and go selections which is so nice. They have sushi too! They also have a nice selection of baked goods including pastries, bread, rolls cakes and pies. We got to try the eclaires which were amazing! And of course all good pastries need coffee to go with it so they have a coffee bar in the space.

They also have plenty of space to sit and enjoy your food. They have seating upstairs and even a porch area where you can enjoy your coffee.

One thing you won’t find there are bags so make sure to bring your own. Customers won’t find any single-use paper or plastic checkout bags. Earlier this year, the co-op became the first grocer in North Carolina to eliminate all single-use checkout bags.

Also if you want to shop at Weaver Street they validate parking. Customers will receive one
hour of validated parking (with a minimum $10 purchase) at The Dillon parking garage, accessible through an entrance on S. West Street.
