After the parade we decide to hang out in downtown and grab lunch. We got to visit Jimmy V’s for the first time.
Two percent of the sales go back to the Jimmy V Foundation which is great. Who doesn’t love to eat for a good cause? We had their wings. We did half BBQ and half dry rub. I was a bit nervous about the dry rub because they use Carolina reaper peppers. I am here to tell you do not fear the reaper! The wings were awesome and were cooked in their wood fire oven. We opted to share their specialty pizza of the day which was a shephard’s pie pie in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day. It had mash potatoes, ground beef and peas. It was actually really good.
We can’t wait to get back to Jimmy V’s again soon.
