In an unassuming shopping center on Capital Blvd, you will find a hidden gem, Soo Cafe. The restaurant features Korean Barbecue Chicken. I loved that their menu clearly stated that their chicken is made from scratch and to please give us at least 15 minutes to cook it.
Here is what we had to eat:
Soo’s Fried Chicken. We opted for the original. Which was one pepper on the spicy scale. It was described as mainly sweet and a little tiny bit spicy. It was the perfect amount of heat for us. Just a bit spicy but not too hot.
We also ordered the Beef Bulgogi which is thinly sliced steak, marinated in soy sauce and served with vegetables. It was wonderful too. I ordered the small dish portion which was a perfect size for me at lunch.
We will definitely go back to this hidden gem. Here is the address so you can find it, too – 2815 Brentwood Rd.
