The other day a coworker wanted to grab a bite to eat. We decided to hit up a Raleigh institution, the Berkley Cafe. They have a great variety of sandwiches on the menu for lunch. I opted for the Turkey Applejack which is smoked turkey sammie with Monterey Jack cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce and apple butter with basil mayo served on wheat toast. I got sweet potato fries with apple butter on the side. I must say with this is the perfect lunchtime pick-me-up. It was so good!
