Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is hard to describe. Maybe a roller coaster meets an omnimover and mixed with a classic rock show is the best you could do.
With a playlist of September by Earth, Wind & Fire, Disco Inferno by The Trammps, Conga by Gloria Estefan, Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears, I Ran by A Flock of Seagulls, and One Way or Another by Blondie this might be the best ride to hear in the parks. (You only get one song per ride.) Beyond the soundtrack the motion is smooth and while it will shake you up – a lot in my case.
It is a really fun and very well-themed ride even if it does have you asking – why is this in EPCOT?
Despite maybe not being a direct hit for EPCOT it is an amazing ride and one that should not be missed. Even if you are a little worse for the wear coming out of it.
Yes – that is me breaking out in a cold sweat and questioning life choices. But – I did ride it again and the second time was a little better. And yes – I will ride it the next time I am in Walt Disney World. They have trash cans without lids, a defibrillator, and comfortable seats for the people like me that know it will get the better of them and go anyway.
Can you imagine what EPCOT may look like if somehow Disney got the rights to build more Marvel rides and attractions? Avenger’s Campus East would be amazing. Not that I am one to broker big deals but what would Universal need to make that happen?
