Day 21 and while the beer tasting is still amazing writing this many posts a month is starting to make me re-think my choices in life. Fortunately today is Hakuna Matata Tropical IPA from our friends D9 in Cornelius or Lake Norman. (Their website lists one as a mailing address and one in their banner head.)
We may not know exactly where we are but this 6.5% ABV / 72 IBU beer is a great IPA. We’re almost to the end of beer-vent. Whew…
Tropical IPA brewed using hops from the US, UK, Germany, Slovenia, and New Zealand. The result is a much more balanced, less bitter but more flavorful Dank-style IPA with hints of Mandarin Orange, Pineapple, Grapefruit, and Elderflower.
