From around the corner to the other side of the state our next stop isn’t in Colorado but rather Brevard. This is a solid beer – maybe not my favorite Coffee Porter but one I definitely like and would drink again in a heartbeat. It has just enough bite with a great coffee flavor.
This porter (6.4% ABV, 30 IBUs) is based on massive malt flavors of roasted nuts, crème brulee, cocoa, and caramel, extracted from English and German roasted and caramel malts. Hotbox Roasters then crashes the party and infuses potent, cold brew coffee from beans sourced from South America that deals out flavors and aromas of dark plums, chocolate, and tobacco.
