The Raleigh Flea Market at the NC State Fairgrounds is a great place to walk around and find some of the most unusual offerings in town. Today I learned they also have an annual Hot Dog Eating Contest. This is the short video of the event and a longer version if you are curious about the winner. This is a great event and while not the competition seen during the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Competition on the Fourth of July it is still impressive and a lot of fun.
We’ll have to keep it on the calendar for next year and see if we can find someone to compete for Team NOSVC.
