The NCAA Basketball Tournament is in my opinion one of if not the best sporting events in the world. The field is open to all Division I schools big and small with the largest schools in America squaring off against the schools you couldn’t find on a map. The goal for everyone isn’t to win the tournament but to win that one game that makes people stand up and take notice and ultimately – survive and advance. We’ve been to a couple of the tournaments before but this one was particularly memorable because now we know Mercer University is located in Macon, GA.
Congrats to Mercer, Tennessee, Memphis and Virginia on their wins. And of course congrats to Serge Zwikker on his defeat of his ice cream cone. It was a hard fought battle but I’d say he licked it.
