This weekend we were on the New River with a reasonably sized group from Raleigh and despite a little rain here and there it was awesome. While the rest of the group was canoeing we took a little nap and went out and snapped a few photos. After the jump is a gallery of the best of what we ended up with. Overall I was pretty happy with most of it.
More photos and maybe even a wild story or two coming later. Yes – I am going to make the guilty parties suffer and think about what that might be for a bit. Until then enjoy these peaceful images of old homes and wildlife on the New River.
