Testing out the newest addition to the 919Raleigh Air Fleet the DJI Spark in Ocean Isle, NC. The quad-copter is extremely stable and flew well in minimal wind. If the weather holds we’ll be back up later this week and shoot some with the Phantom 3 to compare the two drones.
First impression? It is very easy to fly and holds position well. The camera shoots some great images and the video is good as well. A little better color correction in Premiere and I think it would have near cinema quality. I like it a lot and can see it being my go-to drone for its ease of use and quick setup. The time from the ground to the sky is significantly less than the Phantom.
