When we went to visit Galaxy’s Edge we opted to stay at the Coronado Springs Resort in the new Gran Destino Tower. They just opened in July and what a great addition it is! We loved everything about staying there. The tower is beautiful. They have a couple of great bars. The first one is in the hotel lobby area. They specialize in gin and even make their own gin in the house. There is also a bar on the 16th floor of the hotel where you can see some of the fireworks at night. It is a great place to end the day after being in the parks.
The rooms are spacious and beautiful too. We had a lake view room which was really pretty. It overlooked the entire resort. One of the features we really loved was the lights that were built into the headboards so you could read at night without disturbing others. They had a Keurig maker and a fridge in the room which was great as well.
I was concerned about not being close to the pool but it is just a short walk. They have a great bar at the pool. This resort also has a fun waterslide and a hot tub. Oh, and if you have kiddos in tow with you, they have a playground for them to enjoy as well.
This hotel is one of the mid-priced hotels. I loved the resort for the price and will definitely look forward to visiting again soon!
