    Turkey Pumpkin Chili

    Ingredients

    • 1lb Ground Turkey
    • 1 Bell Pepper (Chopped)
    • 1 Onion (Chopped)
    • 1 can Diced Tomatoes (14.5 Ounces with Liquid)
    • 1 cup Water
    • 1 can Kidney Beans (15 Ounces Rinsed & Drained)
    • 1 can White Beans (15 Ounces Rinsed & Drained)
    • 1 can Pumpkin Puree (Not Pumpkin Pie - Plain Pumpkin)
    • 5 tablespoons Caramel Ice Cream Topping
    • 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
    • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
    • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
    • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
    • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce
    • Salt & Pepper (To Taste)

    Directions

    Step 1
    In a small bowl combine ¼ cup of the pumpkin puree and 2 tablespoons of the caramel topping and set aside
    Step 2
    Warm your pot to high heat
    Step 3
    Add onion, bell pepper and garlic
    Step 4
    Cook for about 5 minutes
    Step 5
    Add turkey and cook until browned
    Step 6
    Add tomatoes, pumpkin, water, chili, hot sauce, salt and pepper and beans
    Step 7
    Turn heat down to low and let simmer for 30 minutes
    Step 8
    Add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and caramel
    Step 9
    Let simmer for another 10 minutes
    Step 10
    Place in plates and top with the pumpkin caramel mixture you've set aside earlier
