Southern 75 – Beer/Bourbon Mixed Drink

- 6fl oz IPA Style Beer (We used SweetWater IPA)
- 2fl oz Bourbon (Four Roses suggested - we used Knob Creek)
- 3/4fl oz Fresh-squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1/2fl oz Demerara Syrup (Simple syrup made from Demerara Sugar)
Directions

 Pour the beer into a chilled collins glass. | |

 In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, lemon juice, and demerara syrup with ice, and shake vigorously. | |

 Strain the bourbon mixture into the beer and garnish with a lemon twist. | |
