Another year at Artsplosure in downtown Raleigh and another really fun art find. This year was Justin Albin Thomas / Red Rocket Farm’s Splatbot. This whimsical piece of a robot losing his ice cream from a cone was colorful, fun and perfect for the kitchen. It incorporates two of our favorite things – robots and ice cream. The size was right to hang over the door and it is a great addition to the 919raleigh art gallery. I love that it is 3D but not a complete jump off the wall piece.
