The 124th Men’s U.S. Open will be held in Pinehurst, North Carolina this weekend. We went to the practice round to check out some of the best of the best in golf. Golf enthusiasts travel from across the world to come to this event. It is super exciting to have it in our backyard.
Pinehurst No. 2 is no ordinary course. Designed by the legendary Donald Ross, it has hosted numerous championships and is renowned for its difficult greens and sandy areas. 10,000 PGA players are playing for 156 sports at the open.
The thing I love about visiting during the practice rounds is that the crowds are a bit lighter and it feels a bit more relaxed. The players normally stop to do autographs for the kids, which helps inspire the next generation of golfers. We got to see golf legends like Tiger Woods and newcomers like Nick Dunlap.
The U.S. Men’s Open at Pinehurst is a celebration of golf at its finest. You should grab tickets because it is special to have this just one hour from Raleigh.
