Guests of this year’s Winederlust event didn’t let a little rain ruin the day. The wine was flowing and there were plenty of good bites to enjoy. This year’s venue was beautiful. The event was held at Kiawah River. The live oaks were stunning and the views of the river were gorgeous. I love the live-fire cooking outside. And the music is great too!
What we had to eat:
- Chilled Clams with Peanuts
- Salmon Oyster Tartare
- Anson Mills Buckwheat with grilled mushrooms
- Pistachio Cakes – Yum!!
My favorite was the clams with peanuts. Who would have ever thought to put these together? They were great. Of course, it came from the good folks at Husk so you know it is going to be good. I love the vibe for this event. It is extremely relaxing and you can kick back and enjoy some great food and wine. If you are looking for a fun event for Charleston Food and Wine make sure to get tickets to Winederlust. It normally sells out so make sure to grab these asap!
