Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Today was the perfect day for chicken and dumplings. This recipe was great because it cooked throughout the day and then you just add the biscuits at the end. This is the perfect dinner for a cold winter day!

Chicken and Dumplings


  • 4 Chicken Breasts (Raw)
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 3 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 can Chicken Broth
  • 1 Onion (Diced)
  • 2 tablespoons Dried Parsley
  • 1 can Flaky Grands Buiscuits (Cut up into bite sized pieces)


Step 1
Place Chicken, butter, soup, broth, onion, and parsley in the crock pot.
Step 2
Cook on low for 8-9 hours.
Step 3
After chicken is cooked, shred the chicken and place back into crock pot.
Step 4
Cut up biscuits into 9 pieces each.
Step 5
Stir the biscuits into the soup. Cover and turn the crockpot to High and cook for another hour or until biscuits are done.
