Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen was our evening stop at the Marriott during the Wizard Con / Comic Con fun. We sat a table over from David Faustino (Bud Bundy) but given that he was off the clock at the time we enjoyed the food and didn’t bother him or take his picture. Besides – with food this good who needs love or marriage?
We had Jameson Wings in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Deep Fried Pimento-filled deviled eggs and braised pork belly with grits. All generous small plates that were very well done and even with enough to share you may not want to. The draft beer list was a little limited for a Raleigh restaurant but they had a few good North Carolina selections. Overall I was impressed and will go back if for nothing else the deviled eggs.
