From one of the breweries closest to my house and named for a galaxy far away (actually our home sweet home) comes Milky Way – a great salted caramel sweet stout brewed with roasted and caramel malts, lactose sugar and sea salt. And with this beer we are only 12 shopping days till Christmas or halfway through the beer-vent calendar and at only 5.3% ABV (no IBUs) you can have a second pint and not ruin the next day.
This beer is great but I am really a fan of their restaurants and of course the Maywood Taproom. If you haven’t stopped by – do yourself a favor and drop in over the holiday season. You might start a new tradition for yourself.
