NC Science Fest started last week. This is a two-week long celebration of Science in North Carolina. The goal is to help spread science
education through fun science events.
We got to hear from James Lovell who kicked off this great celebration. Captain Lovell is known for his famous words Houston, we have a problem. He was the captain for Apollo 13. Which he joked was doomed from the beginning. We got to hear the story of how they returned safely to Earth from a first person perspective.
It was a great evening to celebrate science and hear from a National icon.
