Coming off of a successful inaugural program in 2015, the Raleigh Food & Wine Festival announces Thursday through Sunday, May 19-22, 2016, as this year’s dates for the four-day event highlighting of some of the most unique offerings in food and beverage in the capital city.

Thursday through Saturday, participating businesses host unique events around town – including tastings, wine dinners, and cooking classes. Tickets are not required, but RSVP requirements and other details are provided on each event listing in advance at RaleighFoodandWine.com.

On Sunday, all of the festival participants gather at the historic Melrose Knitting Mill and Babylon restaurant in downtown Raleigh to host a half-day “tasting celebration”, where ticket holders sample food and beverages from local restaurants, brands, breweries, and more. Tickets are required for this event and sold out nearly a week in advance in 2015. More tickets have been added for 2016 in anticipation of nearly 50% more participating vendors, but are again expected to sell out in advance of the Sunday event. Tickets are available online only at RaleighFoodandWine.com/purchase-tickets-to-sunday-tasting-event/ and are available at discounted pre-sale rates until Sunday, April 17. Prices will increase beginning Monday, April 18.

The inaugural 2015 event would not have been possible without the support of fantastic sponsors including OrderUp Raleigh, Bulleit Bourbon, Don Julio Tequila, Ketel One Vodka, Pepsi, and RelayFoods.com. The organizers of the Raleigh Food & Wine Festival wish to sincerely thank these organizations for their commitment and welcome additional sponsors for 2016 at RaleighFoodandWine.com/sponsors/.
