We finally got a chance to visit Oak & Dagger Public House. They opened this fall in the old Tyler’s Taproom Location in Seaboard Station. They serve homemade beer and excellent bar food.
What we had to eat:
- Roasted Brussels Sprouts: Candied Jalapenos, Dried Cranberries Finished with Roasted Garlic, Lemon Juice & Balsamic Reduction
- Oak & Dagger Burger: Local Sirloin Patty, Onion Bacon Beer Jam, Fried Gouda, Bibb Lettuce, Tomato, Sriracha Aioli
- Street Faire Grilled Chicken Sandwich: Grilled Chicken Breast, Hoop Cheddar, Gouda, Onion Fig Jam, Bibb Lettuce, Lemon Herb Aioli
We also tried lots of the beers and our favorite was the Baltic Porter. The beer is described as a complex beer that combines multi-layered malt with dark fruit flavors. The beer was great, but I can’t wait to go back for some more southern fusion food!
