So in the middle of somewhere you might not expect it we found this creative and unbelievably tasty menu item. The “Motley Special” was listed under salads – which makes sense that no one that had frequented the restaurant seemed to know what it was. This monstrosity is two cornmeal pancakes with cheese, bar-b-que and red slaw in between. The hush-puppies are just there to confuse you. There is so much goodness on the plate you didn’t need them.
I’m not sure exactly how to tell you to get there but fortunately I found them online so if you are in the area around Sparta, NC you can check them out.
