Triangle Restaurant Week is back January 23-29. This celebration of culinary excellence takes place at restaurants throughout the Triangle. Locations offer 2-3 course menu options for participants to enjoy. Some even have lunch opportunities as well.
Reading through the menus, I am super excited about all the options. One of our favorites is Capital Club 16. Jake Wolf’s menu always has something fun on it and this time you had me at the strudel.
Here’s what’s on the menu:
1st Course: Choose one
- Maultaschen Soup
Fortified beef broth with housemate beef, pork and spinach dumplings
- Celery root and Granny Smith
apple salad with potato pancakes
2nd Course: Choose one
- Local oyster mushroom
käsespätzle with melted Alpine cheese blend and caramelized onions with cucumber dill and carrot horseradish salads
- Hand Cut Spatzel
Pork tenderloin cutlets with Local oyster mushroom sauce, handout spatula, and apple braised red cabbage
- Mama Schneider’s apple strudel
served warm with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream
I can’t wait to check out Triangle Restaurant Week and try some fun new food!
