The Redneck BBQ Lab recently opened their location at North Hills. They have been serving BBQ in Johnston County since January 2017. The Lab is focused on North Carolina BBQ with a scientific twist.
We finally stopped by their new location. Here is what we had to eat.
Brisket which is smoked overnight with hardwoods and hand sliced.
Anthony opted for the burnt ends. They are double sauced, double smoked cubes from the brisket point. Pro tip: These are only sold on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
For our side we opted for the house made chips which were seasoned perfectly and served with a side of ranch.
The quality of the brisket was delicious and I understand why they have a huge following. I can’t wait to go back and try some pork next time.
