We finally got to check out Al Baraka Mediterranean Grill. It is located on Hillsborough Street across from Meredith College. We tried the chicken shawarma sandwich which came with a house side. I opted for the hummus as a side. The chicken shawarma is house marinated chicken topped with tomato, pickles and a garlic dressing. It was great.
They also have a market, where you can find all kinds of Mediterranean goodies and my favorite Kinder Candy.
